John XXIII AIDS Ministry photographs and other material
Photographs, plaques, banners, and other materials related to the history of John XXIII Aids Ministry in Monterey County, the region's first HIV/AIDS outreach service which was founded in 1998. The non-profit later changed its name to Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services in 2009, and then closed July 1, 2015. The bulk of the material is from this body under the original name.

This collections documents the career of journalist and author Robert Lindsey. Materials are largely related to research for his various publications and collaborations and include news clippings, interview transcripts and recordings, correspondence, notes, photographs, and audio/visual materials. It also includes working manuscripts and published copies of his books, as well as newsclippings of Lindsey's articles from 1959-1989.
El Malcriado newspaper and leaflet collection
Issues of El Malcriado newspaper dating from circa 1965-June 24, 1974 and El Malcriado leaflets dating from May 11, 1975-September 8, 1975. El Malcriado was established in 1964 by Cesar Chavez as an unoffical newspaper of the United Farm Workers (originally National Farm Workers of America) in order to promote better working and living conditions for farm workers. Material in Spanish and English.
Ric and Billie Barbara Masten papers
Writings, correspondence, clippings, photographs, business records, recordings, publications, fliers, posters, artwork, notes, scrapbooks and other personal papers of Ric Masten and Billie Barbara Masten, from 1894, 1929-2008. The bulk of the collection documents Ric’s career as a traveling poet and folk singer. Additional items include materials documenting Billie Barbara’s work as a poet, artist, and performer.
