Abstract

Materials related to the public service career of Congressman Sam Farr and the impact of his work throughout the state of California and across the United States. Documents from his Washington D.C. and Salinas offices detail his work as a Congressman representing California Districts 17 and 20 from 1993-2016. The papers include his role as a member of the Monterey County Board of Supervisors from 1975-1980 and as a California State Assemblyman from 1980-1993. Also included are materials from his service in the Peace Corps from 1964-1966.
